Whole home design is the most ambitious work Nu Interiors takes on - and where every skill Nureed brings to a project converges. A single room can be beautiful in isolation. A whole home has to work as a complete composition: room to room, floor to floor, the way light moves through the spaces and the way life moves through the day.
Every project is shaped by bold pattern, creative use of color and texture, and a design sensibility that merges old and new while honoring the architecture and the people the home belongs to. Nureed approaches each whole home as a long-term collaboration, bringing the same project management discipline that defines her kitchen and bathroom work - structure, defined milestones, and full transparency at every stage.

A whole home engagement is fully managed from the first conversation through final installation. Every space is considered in relation to the others, and every decision is made with the full picture in mind.
Whole Home Space Planning
Before any selections are made, Nureed develops a complete spatial strategy for the home: how the rooms relate to each other, how traffic flows between them, how the architecture shapes what is possible, and where the greatest opportunities are. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
Bedrooms & Private Spaces
Bedrooms, home offices, and personal spaces are designed with the same attention to detail as the more public rooms in the home. Rest, focus, and privacy all ask different things of a space, and Nureed designs for how each room is actually used.
Material & Finish Sourcing, Sitewide
A whole home requires a cohesive material story across every surface. Nureed sources and specifies flooring, tile, stone, hardware, lighting, window treatments, and custom finishes across the entire home, with furnishings selected to complete each space as part of the same site-wide palette - one that ties every room together without making them feel identical.
Contractor Coordination & Renovation Management
Whole home renovations involve multiple trades working across multiple spaces simultaneously. Nureed coordinates directly with contractors, manages the project timeline, reviews work on site, and keeps the design intent intact through every phase of construction. This is one of the things her clients consistently credit as the difference between a smooth renovation and a stressful one.
Living & Entertainment Spaces
Living rooms, dining rooms, family rooms, entryways, and open-plan areas are designed to feel connected and complete. Furniture layouts, material palettes, lighting plans, and custom or sourced furnishings are developed to work together across the full space, not room by room in isolation.
Kitchen & Bathroom Design
Whole home projects include full kitchen and bathroom design as part of the scope. Furnishings are sourced, specified, and presented with full budget transparency. Nureed curates a mix of investment pieces and accessible finds, with attention to scale, proportion, and the specific personality of each household. Art and objects are considered part of the design, not an afterthought.
Final Handoff & Documentation
Every Nu Interiors project closes with a complete documentation package: all invoices, receipts, spec sheets, warranties, and design files, organized in a shared folder and delivered as a final flip book for the client’s records.

Nureed walks the entire home with the client. She takes measurements, photographs, and a thorough set of notes across every space in scope. This is where the project begins to take shape and where she gives her most honest assessment of what the home needs and what is possible.

A written scope of work covering every space in the project, with a tailored proposal that reflects the full scale of the engagement. No cookie-cutter packages, no vague line items.

Once signed, the design process begins with a master project calendar, defined phases, and clear decision points for every space.

Nureed develops a unified design direction for the home, presenting mood boards and a whole-home material palette before moving into space-by-space selections. Each space receives its own presentation of options, tied back to the overarching design story, with a running budget spreadsheet showing how every decision affects the total.

Ordering is phased across the project timeline, with updated budgets and delivery dates at each stage. Nureed coordinates across all trades throughout construction, managing sequencing and resolving issues before they affect the schedule. All purchases are made in the client’s name so warranties and invoices belong to them.

A room-by-room final walkthrough and the complete documentation package. Every receipt, specification, warranty, and design file, organized and delivered.
