OUR MISSION:

Nu Interiors is a holistic thinking, purpose driven design studio that believes in collaboration and emotionally intelligent design practices. Nu Interiors creates designs for our clients that are not only thoughtful, functional, and transparent but also socially and emotionally conscientious. We believe that a well-thought, well-designed space is for everyone and we are on a mission to make a difference in people’s homes—and their lives—one client at a time.

OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR:

Award winning designer, Nureed Saeed is the owner and creative director of Nu Interiors, a full service interior design and remodeling project management resource specializing in kitchen and bathroom renovations, servicing California and New Jersey. 

For over 9 years, Nureed has leveraged her natural design sense, project management expertise and care into bringing her clients a home filled with love and purpose. After only 4 years, Nu Interiors was named one of Lux Pad’s top 15 Interior Designers in New Jersey. Nureed and Nu Interiors have been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Apartment Therapy, The Spruce, Millburn-Short Hills magazine, and Design NJ,  amongst other design publications. Prior to starting her design firm, Nureed spent over 15 years in the fashion industry in buying, product management, licensing and brand management, working for notable designers like Ralph Lauren and Kenneth Cole.  

Recently named the Kitchen & Bath Business Person of the Year in 2023, a 2023 Ones to Watch winner by ASID and a 2022 Innovator winner by Kitchen & Bath Design News for her equity in design efforts, Nureed holds a Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Cornell University’s ILR School. She is a leader and passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the design industry. Nureed currently serves at the President of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Northern California Chapter. 

When Nureed isn’t making her client’s design dreams come true and volunteering in her community, she is the busy mother of ten year old twins and a nine year old. She, her husband, Muzy, and children reside in Northern California where road trips, the delicious food of the Bay Area and and a passion for anything art and design are the center of their time together.
